Overview of Workshop

ANEW-NY aims to engage leaders of 501C-3 organizations using Indigenous Socio-political techniques to rethink Nonprofit Structures while offering ways to remain accountable to the communities and people they claim to serve. This approach produced successful outcomes through our focus group.

The Specifics: How will the $1,000 help you host your workshop?

Alternative Network for Employee Wellness has successfully spearheaded and co-convened events in the past years to sustain community activism and social change. We hope that the funds received will give us access to facilitate “ANEW Roundtable for Leaders”, a bi-monthly 8 week series where we collectively work develop practices that value the organizational leadership of those we serve. While we collaborate with other organizations that support our endeavor to provide quality resources for our constituents’ Professional Quality of Life, ANEW-NY is a self-starter and projects the funds will aid in its structural development such web management and marketing strategies.
