Overview of Workshop

Globaloria (www.Globaloria.org) is the first and largest social network for learning where students develop digital literacy, STEM knowledge and global citizenship skills through game design.

The Specifics: How will the $1,000 help you host your workshop?

In 2012-13, over 3500 underserved youth nationwide will engage in this student-centered, project-based, blended learning education innovation as an integrated offering of their standard in-school curriculum. To support this education transformation, educators and administrators engage in in-person workshops that empower them with the skills and knowledge to turn their classrooms into dynamic digital learning labs. A $1000 Big Wheel Brigade and GOOD grant will assist in allowing educators to attend the training and become digital learning leaders.
